This is definitely an interesting scam. I had never heard of such a thing. The thief that does this has a great deal of audacity. In Georgia, anyone who is a prospective client must now provide identification at the office before being shown any properties. This change was made a few years back when two real estate agents were murdered in the office of a new subdivision. Now, nobody gets into new homes without providing proper identification.
