The basic learning is this: Investing in real estate is primarily investing in people and second only on the land and everything standing on it, e.g. buildings, houses, apartments, and improvements.

Why is this so? Because it’s the people that make the real estate world go round. Therefore, you can make money in real estate by selling and leasing property with people, especially in dealing with people involved on it, for example, landowners, agents, buyers, contractors, tenants, and many others.

Majority have the impression that investing in real estate is investing on the properties Most don’t realize it, but real estate investing is a people business!

You can only successfully buy, sell and lease property if you can skillfully deal with people — sellers, agents, tenants, buyers, contractors, government workers, bankers, and many others.

So, before you invest in real estate, it is important first to understand what motivates these people. Knowing their motivations, the profit will be half earned.

This is because investing in real estate is investing in people, real estate investing being a people business.
